Well good morning everyone! How's the weekend going? I have to work this evening and spend the day doing annoying things like get my car inspected
Thank you so much for really stepping up to the plate to help me with my computer issue guys. The final fix was courtesy of =
Illusio-5 who's husband is a computer guru. It turned out that I had to completely uninstall all of the default Symantec programs running on my computer. Apparently, they design their products to pretty much ignore user settings in an effort to keep your computer safe no matter how much you screw things up. That's perfect for people who have meddling children who want to turn off parental controls or the like but not so great for people who actually know what they're doing and don't want their computer telling them what they can and can't do. Personally, it really freaks me out that I had a non-virus program on my computer that did whatever it wanted with complete disregard to what I told it to do. I shouldn't have to reprimand my computer. I feel like I sent Symantec into timeout with a spanking by disabling it but that wasn't enough for that particularly BAD child, so I had to lock it in a room and whip it until it died. Makes me feel a bit sadistic but when it comes to computers, sometimes you just have to be the Mean Mommy.
Right now, I'm working on quite a few projects and still plodding through my CSS requests. Thanks to everyone for your patience, I know it's annoying to have to wait so long

.
Also, please go and read ¢
lemontea's journal. I read it this morning and really empathized with him. I've found that as I've gained a place in the community, people are much less inclined to offer critique and constructive comments on my work. It's not that I don't appreciate faves but I have a sincere fear of being stuck in one place as an artist and losing the ability to evolve. It makes me happy you guys like my work... but WHY? What is it that sticks out? If you don't like something I've submitted, I want to hear about it! Don't be afraid to leave critiques on my artwork. I am not sensitive! I need those comments to help me move up and continue artistic evolution. Without them, I lose inspiration and the fear of being a stagnant artist only grows.
Well, that's all for now guys. Now go look at my features!

Devious Comments
Most of the computer stuff went whooosh over my head but glad it's okay now. Compy problems suck...
And I hear you about the critique (you're the 3rd person I've come across that said something about it today). I think what we really need is someone that understands the media and skill-level involved so the commentors arn't just blown away at how fantastic the work is. I know personally that I need the slap on the wrist for posting up doodles in the main gallery but nobody that watches me wants to do that...

Glad you got your computer sorted out. Had you not taken Symantic off I was going to tell you it's one of the worst anti-virus programs to use anyway.

And I definitely checked out ¢lemontea's journal and left a super long comment. Haha.

Buy the ticket, take the ride.
And the reason I don't really try to critique on work is because I know that it is better than what I could ever do, and that I don't want people being like, "Well you have no place to critique this since you can't do it yourself." You know what I mean? But, I'll start being more indepth on why I like your work, as soon as I get the time to actually go through my deviations.
Oh and thank you for the feature. It was a lovely suprise.
