Third in the elements series, this piece has a lot of personal and very poignant meaning to me. On top of being part of the series, it is also a tribute for everyone who has ever lost a parent.

I really don't know what to say about this, aside from the fact that I'm typing with tears in my eyes. I thought at first glance that it was a beautiful piece, and it took a lot of skill (which you obviously possess) to create it. And then I read your description, and cried. I haven't lost either of my parents, but there were definately times I felt I have. This is a very poignant piece, and I thank you for sharing.

Oh Rinnie... I couldn't even imagine how much went into this on every conceivable level. Its a masterpiece in my opinion and something you should be VERY VERY proud of. THIS is a triumph. Beautiful.

There might be too much shadow under the bird's wings given the position of the light source, but I'm not sure it matters.
